How it works
Same evening: photograph a menu, CaterKit drafts the recipes, you send the quote.
1Snap
No typing a recipe list from scratch — photograph a printed menu, or paste one in.
2Review
CaterKit drafts the recipes from the photo. You add your prices and check them before anything counts.
3Send
Turn the dishes you kept into a branded quote your client opens and accepts on their phone.
Your own booking page
Let clients start the quote themselves
Share one link. Your branded booking page lets clients browse your menu, pick dishes, and see a live estimate — then send it straight to you, already shaped like a quote.
Somewhere for "can you cater our…" to land
Instead of a full inbox, a page that looks like you — your logo, your color, your menu.
A live estimate, from your real prices
Clients see a rough number as they pick — your published menu prices, per head — so you both start from the same page. It's labeled an estimate, and nothing is final until a quote goes out and is accepted.
You approve every draft
Nothing is booked and nothing is charged until a request is accepted — by hand, or by rules you set. Anything outside those rules lands as a draft you review, adjust, and send in your own voice. When clients pay through the platform, Stripe processes the payment on your own connected account — the money settles to you, never into a CaterKit balance.
Built for the whole job
The parts caterers actually lose evenings to: costing, quoting, and event-day prep.
What your crew sees
Your crew sees the lists, never your margins
Staff accounts open in day-of mode: the shopping, prep, and pack lists, nothing else.
Team includes 3 seats, add up to 15.

One app, everywhere you work
CaterKit runs in any browser today — the iPhone and Android apps are on the way. Your recipes, quotes, and events stay in sync everywhere you sign in. Quote from your laptop at the desk, check prep off your phone's browser in the kitchen.

The fine print, up front
The parts most apps bury, said plainly.
You approve everything
Imports arrive as drafts. You decide. Nothing lands in your recipes or quotes until you've checked it.
Your money, your accounts
Clients pay you directly — your money lands in your own accounts and never sits in a CaterKit balance.
No pricing surprises
Flat plans, published prices, no setup fees. If pricing ever changes, you’ll hear it from us 30 days ahead — never from a bigger invoice.
Free means free
2 new events a month, for as long as you like. No card up front, no trial countdown.
Questions, answered.
Do you take a cut of my jobs?
Your plan is one flat monthly price. Card payments carry the processor's rate plus a small CaterKit platform fee — 2% on Free, 1% on Solo, 0.5% on Pro, 0.5% on Team — settled at payment time. Prefer your own payment links (Venmo, Zelle, your own Stripe)? They keep working on every plan, with no fee, forever.
Where does my clients’ money actually go?
Clients pay you directly — your money lands in your own accounts and never sits in a CaterKit balance.
Do I have to type my whole menu in?
No. Photograph a printed menu — or paste one in — and CaterKit drafts the recipes from it. You price the ingredients and check them before anything counts.
What if a drafted recipe is wrong?
You fix it before it matters. Every drafted recipe waits for your review — edit it or toss it, and nothing counts until you approve it.
Can clients book themselves on my page?
They build the request and see a live estimate — nothing is booked or charged until it’s accepted.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Export everything, free, on every tier, forever. The record walks with you.
CaterKit Solo, Pro & Team
What a paid plan adds
Three steps up from Free. On Solo your client signs the whole job from their phone. On Pro you know what every event really made. Team adds the seats — and the day-of view your crew signs in to.
Solo
Client portal & e-sign
Your client reads, signs, and accepts the whole job from their phone. No printing, no chasing a signature. You get pinged the moment they do.
Pro
Event P&L & reports
Quoted versus actual on every event, so you know what each job really made. Export accountant-ready CSV at tax time.
A note from the founder
Hi — I'm building CaterKit because quoting a catering job shouldn't take longer than cooking it. Too many talented caterers give up their evenings to spreadsheet math on food they could cost in their sleep.
CaterKit is independent: one founder, no sales team, no lock-in. If it hands you back an evening a week, it's earning its keep. If it doesn't, the free plan never expires and your data exports with you.
