Exporting your data, or deleting your account

Your numbers are always yours: download everything anytime, and close your account when you want.

Your data belongs to you. Open Settings, then Export, to download everything CaterKit holds for your business — events, clients, quotes, recipes, payments and costs — as CSV or JSON.

Export everything, free, on every tier, forever, subscribed or not. There is no paywall on your own numbers. CSV opens straight in a spreadsheet for you or your accountant; JSON is the lossless, re-loadable copy. Exporting changes nothing — it is only a download.

Ready to close the account? Open Settings, then Delete account. CaterKit nudges you to export first, then asks you to type your business name to confirm, so there are no accidental taps.

Deleting schedules your account and its data for permanent removal about a week out, so there is a short grace period. Changed your mind? Sign back in before that date and tap Restore. There is no refund of paid time you have not used.

Once the grace period passes, we remove your content within 30 days. A few records the law requires us to keep — invoices, for tax — stay for as long as we must, and copies in our backups age out on their own within about a month after that.

On a team but not the owner? Deleting your account simply removes you from the teams you are on; the business itself stays with its owner.

Prefer that we handle it? Email support from the address on your account and we will run the same deletion for you.
