Getting started: your first event

CaterKit is built around events. An event is one job: a wedding, a corporate lunch, a backyard party.

Tap the plus button to start one. Give it a title, a date, and a headcount. You can change any of it later.

From the event you build a quote, track who has paid, and generate the shopping, prep and pack lists your crew works from.

The fastest way to a first quote is to import a menu from a photo, then price it. The next article walks through that.

You do not need to fill everything in at once. Start with the event and the quote; the rest is there when you need it.
